Auditions

Our orchestra is committed to presenting great American music, as well as composers and artists that represent all backgrounds. We are looking for musicians that enthusiastically embrace risk-taking in their playing and are willing to experiment in the way that concerts are presented- a focus for the WSO. The WSO empowers our musicians by providing them a voice in the programming of the group; featuring their stories through our marketing and social-media presence; and offering vast amounts of chamber-music opportunities, most notably through our WSO on the Go program that brings music to communities throughout the Ohio Valley in dynamic formats and spaces.
