Wheeling Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors Names Betsy Delk as Interim Executive Director
(Wheeling, WV) Wheeling Symphony Orchestra (WSO) Board of Directors has appointed WSO board member and previous board president, Betsy Delk as Interim Executive Director. Betsy resigned her position on the board and began her position as Interim Executive Director on March 16, 2020.
“I want to thank the WSO Board of Directors for the opportunity to serve the WSO in this capacity,” says Betsy Delk, WSO Interim Executive Director. “As a long-time member of the Board, I look forward to working more closely with our capable staff, talented musicians and our artistic leader, John Devlin. This remains an exciting time for the WSO as Maestro Devlin infuses the Orchestra and the community with his enthusiastic vision for the future.”
Delk has been a member of the WSO Board of Directors since 2006 and served as Board President for four years. She is a graduate of Miami University and the William & Mary College of Law. She practiced law with Bachmann, Hess, Bachmann & Garden.

Delk resides in Wheeling with her husband David & three daughters.
