(Wheeling, WV) In response to West Virginia’s Governor’s request not to hold events with large crowds due to ongoing concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra has cancelled tonight’s performance of Beethoven at 250.  While we have made the difficult decision to cancel our concert, our priority is with the safety of our patrons, artists, musicians, and staff.

For those patrons who have purchased tickets to tonight’s performance, we have outlined the following actions for ticket buyers to Beethoven at 250:

  • Exchange your tickets for another concert for our 2019-2020 season
(Disney in Concert, April 24 and 90th Celebration, May 15)
  • Receive a ticket voucher to be used for a classical concert next season
(Concert dates for our 91st season will be announced in April)
  • Donate your ticket (As a nonprofit arts organization, the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra relies on support from our audiences and donors.  By donating your tickets, you are providing vital support for the music and musicians that create Your Community, in Concert.  Please consider donating your tickets back to the WSO and receive a tax donation receipt.)

Please contact the WSO box office at (304) 232-6191 or by e-mail at boxoffice@wheelingsymphony.com to speak to a Wheeling Symphony representative.

Thank you for your efforts and support in this important area. We look forward to creating wonderful music for our community soon.
