Set on a small family-owned vineyard and winery located in rural Adena, Ohio, Black Sheep Vineyard has been open to the public since 2008. Black Sheep Vineyard frequently host local musical acts. The Wheeling Symphony will be providing a special concert with their string quintet and will feature musicians: Anne Moskal (violin), Juan Jaramillo (violin), Jennifer Gerhard (viola), Elisa Kohanski (cello), and Jeffrey T. Mangone (contrabass). The performance will feature a variety of music from classical favorites to popular tunes.
“Enjoy some wine and beautiful music on this late spring evening,” said Bryan Braunlich, General Manager of the WSO. “We are so thankful to our friends at the Black Sheep Vineyard for welcoming us to play on their stage. It seemed like such a natural fit for us to perform with our wonderful string quintet in this incredible space. We hope everyone comes out and has a great time at the vineyard.”
Because of the generous support of our sponsors and donors, including title sponsor McKinley Carter Wealth Services, all WSO on the GO concerts will be free to the public to entice and encourage new audiences to become long-time supporters. More information is available at wheelingsymphony.com.
